A family mission

Grace's Courage Crusade is the mission of the Sidoti and Caldarone family, supporting everyone living with CMT, which affects Marybeth Caldarone and her daughter Grace, who has CMT2A.

Their mission is both to fund cure-driven research and to raise awareness of CMT worldwide.

Awareness through books and schools

They come together each fall at their annual fundraiser in Newport, Rhode Island. They also raise the public profile of CMT through a children's book series written by Carol Liu and Marybeth Caldarone, starting with Arlene On the Scene and its sequel Arlene, the Rebel Queen, which teaches children, parents, and educators about CMT while offering a positive role model. Through their School Outreach Program, they bring a message about the value of embracing differences to elementary schools across the country.

Be part of the search for a cure

Stories like Grace's are why HNF exists. The most useful step most people can take is to be counted, so researchers can find and study everyone living with CMT2A.
