The CMT Summit is the one meeting of the year where patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers and industry are in the same room, and where the patients help set the agenda rather than being invited to listen to it.

It is also a research site. Biospecimens are collected on the day and a multi-year wearable mobility study runs alongside the sessions, so attending is itself a way of moving the science.

That combination is unusual and deliberate. Most conferences invite patients to hear about research. This one treats them as the people the research is for, and as a source of the data it runs on.

The 2027 Summit is in Baltimore, Maryland, in April. The exact date has not been announced yet, and this page will carry it as soon as it is.
