Every dollar counts
Iris Adler started the H.E.L.P. Fund, which stands for Help Elliot Live Proud, after her grandson Elliot was diagnosed with CMT2A. Living by the motto that every dollar counts and every dollar adds up, she has raised over $500,000 for CMT2A research through an annual letter-writing campaign and a yearly Card Party Brunch in Boca Raton, Florida.

After the age of seven, Elliot could not play soccer, ride his bike, or hike in the woods. He wears braces that extend to his knees, and the loss of agility makes it nearly impossible for him to enjoy activities most young boys take for granted.
We are so close, really close, to eliminating and perhaps reversing the effects of Elliot's CMT2A. What we discover for Elliot's type will benefit all the variants of CMT.
