CMT Family Conference

A day for CMT families at the University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City.

Family conferences are where a parent who has spent two years reading about CMT alone at midnight gets to ask a neurologist the question directly, and where a child gets to meet another child with the same braces.

Expect the day to be practical rather than abstract. Family conferences tend to be where the useful, unglamorous knowledge gets passed along: which braces people actually wear, how to handle a school that does not understand fatigue, what to ask for at the next appointment.

This conference is hosted by the University of Kansas Health System, so registration goes to their team and the confirmation will come from them rather than from HNF.
